Make – up Artist and Hair Stylist
Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
Although I always knew that I would be involved in the creative arts on some level, strangely, I never anticipated that being a make-up artist would be a part of that.
My artistic background was initially in textile design. I then segued into costume making and designing before I realised that I needed and wanted more creative scope within the industry. I re-trained.
I love it!
I love the collaborative process. I love the creative freedom and input that being able to combine all of my skills affords me.
As well as the costume/wardrobe side of things, in which I am still involved and excited by, I have spent the last year and a half or so building up a strong base of contacts working on, among other things, shoots, fashion shows and publicity/marketing material.
There will be more to follow. I can’t wait!
