Are you looking for a glowing healthy skin? Well, getting a healthy skin is much more than applying the external products such as face washes and cosmetics. Your skin needs the nutrition from inside to stay healthy and vital. Here are some of the diet tips that can make your skin more vital and healthier.

What you need the most to keep your skin healthy is antioxidants. So include blueberries in your diet plan as they are one of the richest sources of antioxidants. You can make a walnut-blueberry smoothie for the breakfast. However, if you do not have the walnuts to make the walnut milk, you can also go for milk. Walnuts are good for your skin because they contain magnesium which is known to increase the blood flow to the skin.

Kale salad including pomegranate seeds is also very effective in maintaining the vitality of your skin. It contains a lot of antioxidants, which, as already stated, are important for the skin. It also contains vitamin K, which is known for reducing the elasticity of the skin.

There are many more food items that can be included in your diet plan to maintain the good health of your skin. For instance, beets contain antioxidant betalain more than any other vegetable. You can also add tomato to your diet. Tomato contains the antioxidant lycopene which helps in reducing the roughness of the skin.

Also remember that drinking lots of water helps the skin remain hydrated and thus healthier. Drink at least 2 litres of water every day.
